The Associate Product Manager will keep their finger on the pulse of current industry trends, identify gaps, and the consumer to drive multi-platform product development to address those gaps. Developing applications in a dynamic environment requires a focus on creative, open-ended thinking to solve complex business needs.                                                                                                 

iHeartRadio seeks an Associate Product Manager who will be responsible for the definition and ongoing management of iHeartMedia’s local radio station websites at all stages of the product lifecycle, leveraging Voice of consumer research and analytics to determine new opportunities for improvement or innovation. The Associate Product Manager will keep their finger on the pulse of current industry trends, identify gaps, and drive multi-platform product development to address those gaps. In addition, this member of the digital team will be actively involved in architectural software discussions across the organization. Developing applications in a dynamic environment requires a focus on creative, open-ended thinking to solve complex business and technical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Write user stories to define new or updated functionality for iHeartRadio’s network of local radio station websites.

  • Qualitative and quantitative research to determine voice of the consumer to drive changes to the product.

  • Manage in-life product performance as well as the product improvement life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

  • Create formal business cases and product descriptions and work as a facilitator between the various internal organizations to ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately.

  • Lead meetings centered on system and operational requirements for product changes and new product development.

  • Pre-empt potential problems and provide effective solutions in reaction to the application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes developed to support the new product or product change.

  • Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including Research, Analytics, IT, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Editorial, Programming, Support, and Operations.

  • Solid team player that brings energy and enthusiasm to the organization.

Requirements: 

  • Must have a balance of tech, marketing, and management skills

  • 1+ years experience working on multi-faceted media-focused websites in a development, design, support, or product role

  • Solid understanding of web and mobile design patterns and agile methodologies

  • Proven track record in product efficacy evaluation

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work with and present to executive management credibly and comfortably

  • Excellent facilitation and teamwork skills

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
