Job Summary:

The Digital Director manages day-to-day digital operations for a group of markets by brainstorming, creating, optimizing and promoting digital content. The ideal candidate possesses proven high-level digital skills combined with knowledge of the latest marketing trends, as well as a sense of what interests a specific audience. With that, they will implement effective and innovative ways to drive engagement and traffic.

                                                                                                    

Responsibilities:

  • Execute all aspects of digital for websites and socials in assigned market segments

  • Work with local markets to develop and deliver promotions and content

  • Collaborate with Sr. Digital Director to create, enhance, and set the direction and tone of digital content

  • Create, enhance, and direct the tone of digital content

  • Devise unique, creative ideas for new features, content and enhancements that advance objectives and strategic plans

  • Ensure web best practices are met

 

Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in digital content including websites, social media, blogs and mobile/tablet applications, video, etc.

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven writing, editing, proofreading and copywriting skills

  • Excellent project management skills; strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Stress tolerance and flexibility, especially when working under pressure and on multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated experience with web CMS systems

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere. After Effects is a huge plus.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Omniture a huge plus

  • 3+ years of work experience in digital operations, digital content creation and digital marketing

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
